We’re proud to announce that UCD Centre for Cybersecurity & Cybercrime Investigation is coordinating HOPLITE, a new two-year project co-funded by the European Commission, in collaboration with CIRCL (Computer Incident Response Center Luxembourg) and Timelex.

HOPLITE aims to strengthen public safety by enhancing the ability of law enforcement and emergency services to detect and respond to threats in real time. The project will explore how advanced AI-based data analysis can support timely, intelligence-led decision-making and improve overall response effectiveness.

Building on proven European technologies and expertise, HOPLITE will integrate and extend existing solutions to deliver a practical, deployable tool for use by law enforcement and judicial authorities. We’re grateful for the support of our associated partners and contributors, including An Garda Síochána, National Cyber Security Centre, Ireland (NCSC-IE), and ECTEG, whose experience and collaboration will help ensure the project’s success.
