UCD Centre for Cybersecurity & Cybercrime Investigation (UCD CCI) was invited to attend the COW Pilot Session in Munich taking place on 8^th-9^th September 2026, hosted by ZITiS.

 Michael O’Callaghan MSc gave an overview of HOPLITE, the technology being developed, and how the project is working with law-enforcement and security partners to help analysts make better use of online information and identify what is most relevant.

The event was a great opportunity to hear from other projects and practitioners working on similar challenges, exchange ideas around tools and discuss practical use cases. It was particularly useful to catch up with colleagues from COW and ULTRA xL, sister projects funded under the same ISF call, and to explore where the projects complement each other.

Thanks to ZITiS and the COW project team for the invitation and for hosting a very enjoyable and useful couple of days in Munich.
